Sharon Mccoy msn, rnc, lnc-SP

Sharon McCoy, owner of RVA Legal Nurse Consultants, has been a registered nurse for over 30 years.  Sharon received her Diploma of Nursing from Sisters of Charity in Buffalo New York.  She received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Virginia.  She has a background in nursing administration with specialization in Women and Infants.  Sharon completed a post-certificate in Legal Nurse Consulting from the University of Richmond and is certified through the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants.  She is an active member of AWHONN (The Association of Women's Health Obstetrics and Neonatal Nurses) and local community boards. She is certified in Inpatient Obstetrics, a Fetal Monitoring Instructor, Neonatal Resuscitation Instructor and Bereavement Counselor.  

RVA Legal Nurse Consulting started with a simple premise: To build a consulting business from years of working in the health care industry and to utilize that clinical knowledge and expertise to educate and support the legal community.
